For everyone who keeps saying “tomorrow”
You said you’d start tomorrow. How many tomorrows ago was that?
You already know what you need to do. That’s never been the problem. The problem is getting yourself to start.
The thing you’ve been meaning to do. The project you’ve been avoiding. The change you keep saying you’ll make. You keep moving it to tomorrow. Eventually, tomorrow has to become today.
today, not tomorrow.

How long has that been on your list?
Not the small stuff. The one you move to tomorrow so often that it’s stopped feeling like a real thing you might actually do.
You’ve thought about it enough. You’ve moved it to tomorrow enough. At some point, thinking has to become doing.
you know the one.
- Start the project since spring
- Make the call 3 weeks
- Clean out the room two moves ago
- Apply for the job closes Friday
- Start the business idea 2 years
- Get organized every January
- The thing you’re thinking about right now …
a personal note
I used to live by “tomorrow.”
I know what procrastination feels like because I lived it.
I used to tell myself “I’ll do it tomorrow.” The problem was, tomorrow usually made things worse. Sometimes it cost me more money. Sometimes I waited on something involving my health longer than I should have. And sometimes it was something I actually wanted to do — but I waited so long that it just never happened.
Work was the same way. “I have time. I’ll do it tomorrow.” Until eventually there wasn’t any more tomorrow. Then I’d be forced to deal with it — rushed, under pressure, and usually later than I should have been.
And there were opportunities I missed for one simple reason:
I didn’t start.
Eventually I realized something that changed the way I handled almost everything:
Start now.
Not finish now.
Not solve everything now.
Just start now.
I trained myself to do that, and it changed me from someone who constantly put things off into someone who starts.
That’s where Wait Like Me comes from.
Because I know exactly what it’s like to wait. And I know how much can change when you stop.
— Wait Like Me
Possibility
You don’t need to finish it today. You need to start it.
When something feels too big, we wait. For more time. A better mood. A fresh Monday. But you don’t have to finish everything today. Give it ten minutes. Do one thing. That’s how you start.
ten minutes. today.

I finally made the call.
I’d been avoiding one phone call for four months. Day 3 had me make it. It took ten minutes. Four months of dread for ten minutes.

The first program I actually finished.
I own more unfinished courses than I’d like to admit. This one I finished, because every day is genuinely small. No hour-long videos to put off.

The spare room is a room again.
Two moves’ worth of boxes. I didn’t clear it in a weekend — I cleared it ten minutes at a time, and somehow that was the version that worked.

Missing a day didn’t wreck it.
With every other program, I miss two days and quietly give up. Here I just picked up the next day. No streak, no guilt trip, no catching up.

Ten minutes is the whole trick.
Ten minutes is too small to argue with. Half the time I kept going past it. The other half, ten minutes was still more than I’d done all month.

The AI prompts got me unstuck.
My problem was never motivation, it was not knowing where to begin. The prompts broke my big vague task into a first step I could actually do.

Two years of “someday.” Over.
I’d talked about my business idea at every dinner for two years. By day 30 I had a name, a simple plan and my first three conversations booked.

The 30 days ended a while ago, but the habit stuck. When I catch myself thinking “tomorrow,” I hear “just start now” and do the first bit.
